Charlie Parker: Donna Lee Classic Tee
"Donna Lee" is credited to Charlie Parker, who recorded it for Savoy in 1947 with Miles Davis on trumpet. It's a new melody over the chord changes of "Indiana". Miles later claimed it as his own, and Gil Evans said it was the drummer Tiny Kahn's. Nobody is entirely sure, which hasn't stopped horn players from spending years learning it.
