Product Questions

All of our solid color tees are made with 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton. Our heather tees are a blend of 52% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton and 48% polyester.

Generally our shirts are praised for having a true-to-size fit for an average to slim physique. You may consider sizing up if you have a larger build or prefer a more relaxed fit.

We use Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing for all of our t-shirts. This method utilizes inkjet technology to spray ink directly onto the fabric, allowing for high-resolution color-rich designs on your shirt. It’s the best method we’ve found for producing detailed, durable, vibrant prints with a soft finish.

Turn garments inside out to preserve the integrity of the design. Use cold water only, and laundry detergent without bleach. Dry on low under normal settings. Expect about 5-7% (about half a shirt size) shrinkage after a normal wash for our cotton shirts. Wash colors separately from whites, especially on the first wash.
Over time, you may experience slight fading on the graphic as your shirt naturally weathers with repeated washings.

The printing process involves preparing the shirt with a setting spray - this helps the design take to the shirt and makes for a long-lasting print. The spray does have an odor and if the shirt is packaged soon after printing, the smell can linger a bit.
Not to worry! The smell should go away on its own, but if it persists you can flip the shirt inside out and wash it on cold and dry on low. Or you can rinse the garment in cold water and hang it to dry! Either should get rid of any residual odor. If the smell remains, feel free to let us know via our Contact page. -
The last step of the printing process includes the use of a setting spray to make sure the design stays on the shirt. Occasionally this spray can leave faded spots on the shirt, but those should wash out after the first wash! If they don't, please let us know and we'll be happy to rectify this for you.

U.S. shipping times vary within a range of 2-5 business days due to your location and USPS constraints.If you have any questions about whether your order will make it in time for an event or deadline, please contact us and ask before ordering!

Returns & Refunds

Items purchased from Archival Apparel are custom-made and printed just for you. We're always happy to set up a free size exchange if the size you've ordered isn't right. If you're ready to set up an exchange, you can click here to access your Account on the site.
Returns can be done for all qualifying orders and requests must be submitted within 30 days of the expected delivery date. Items must be unworn and unwashed. Your order will be refunded except for the original shipping fees paid on the order. If an item has already been exchanged, it is no longer eligible for a return for a refund.
If something you received is defective or you have trouble setting up an exchange, please get in touch with us via the Contact form - we'd be happy to get this sorted for you.

A refund request can be submitted within 30 days of the expected delivery date.

If something you received is defective please contact us with a picture of the damaged item and we'll do what we can to make it right! We never ask that damaged items be returned to us.

Typical refunds clear on our end in 24-48 hours, but based on the original payment method and your bank, it can take a billing cycle (3-4 weeks) for this to process.
