Béla Bartók: Klavierkonzert Classic Tee
Klavierkonzert is German for piano concerto, and Bartók wrote three. The last, from 1945, was for his wife, the pianist Ditta, in the hope that her performances would support her after he was gone. He died that September with seventeen bars unwritten, and his pupil Tibor Serly finished them. It is one of his sunniest pieces.
