Berlioz: Symphonie Fantastique Classic Tee
Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique (1830) tells of an artist in love who takes opium, dreams he has murdered his beloved, watches his own execution and ends up at a witches' sabbath. The beloved was real: the actress Harriet Smithson, whom he'd seen as Ophelia. She heard the symphony in 1832, and they married in 1833. It worked, which is not a recommended method.
