J.S. Bach: Skeleton Classic Tee
In October 1894, workers in Leipzig's St. John's graveyard found an oak coffin holding a man of about sixty-five, believed to be Bach. The anatomist Wilhelm His measured the skull and reconstructed the face. The remains went to St. Thomas Church, where Bach had been cantor, in 1949 or 1950, though some scholars doubt the identification. We'll leave that to the anatomists.
