The first edition of La Mer has a detail of Hokusai's Great Wave on its cover, which Debussy chose himself. The Paris premiere on October 15, 1905, went badly; even some of his supporters were cool on it. He finished it in Eastbourne, on the English Channel, so whatever the critics made of it, he had the right view.
material:4.2 oz combed ring-spun cotton
printed:in the usa
side-seamed with shoulder taping. 100% cotton (heather colors are cotton-poly blends). — wash cold, inside out. tumble dry low.
Nice website, medicore product. Poor quality. Irritating customer service. Dont recommend.
Material already coming apart, after just a few weeks, without even ONE laundry wash and wearing it outside once. Its made in Honduras so idk.
The “art” they put so much thought into is just ok.
Shipping was profoundly slow. and the excuse they gave me was “we’re artists.”
I begged them to customize a shirt of my friends favorite classical album for his birthday. I said id pay more. They said i could make a request they’d just put in their idea bucket and “respectfully declined.”
As i said in my email to them, which i didnt want to do because id rather support a cool, creative, independent business… i went on canva, had fun, made my own shirt, with higher quality material, and paid less than if id given these “artists” free business. My friend loves it. Wild.
The shirt i made is attached.
If you are a classical music fan, you’re gonna need several of these. Extremely comfortable, keeps its size pretty well after washing, you may want to order one size up.
