Hildegard was declared a saint in May 2012, about 830 years after she died, when Benedict XVI extended her cult to the whole Church through what is called equivalent canonization. She was named a Doctor of the Church later that year, only the fourth woman to hold the title. Composers who wait 800 years for a promotion are rare.

I'd ordered six t-shirts from Archival Apparel since I was attracted to their unique music themed designs. The clothes didn't arrive at their estimated time but they were very prompt in notifying me of what happened and went above and beyond to complete the delivery. I'll definitely shop at their store again. Thank you!
Sorry that I can't help just yet. Saving it for my small fellowship's next gathering (they'd all be Hildegard "fans".) Missed our last Sunday, due to medical matter... Might even get a pic when we meet in September. But I love the shirt; the color's great, the art is perfect - and it fits like a dream. I've appreciated her art and her music as well as her mysticism for a good thirty years or more. My husband visited her resting place while we were on river cruise. (And was glad to have done, even if he ended up in an ER the next morning: a diabetic with a massive - and broken - blister from the hike there!) The medieval mystics as a whole fascinate me! Might I suggest St. Gertrude of Nivelles? (After all, she's the patroness of all of us Crazy Cat Ladies today!)
I purchased four different Archival Apparel tee-shirts for myself. Before that, I purchased -- maybe -- four articles of clothing for myself in the past 10 years. That should tell you how much I dig these.
Anyway, My wife was feeling left out, so I got her this one. She LOVES it!
It’s super comfortable, the fabric is soft, and it fits really well. I also REALLY like how the color looks! Definitely on my list of favorite shirts, and I’ve added some of the other designs to my birthday/Christmas list.
I was excited to see the Hildegard tshirt. Such a unique item. Ordering was easy and delivery was efficient and timely. It was so nice to be able to trust an online retailer. Thanks!
Great shirt. And more important to me, the Customer Service was stellar. It’s rare to get that kind of personal attention anymore and these guys do it right.
