Sibelius wrote the music that became Finlandia in 1899 for a press celebration that doubled as a protest against Russian censorship. It closed a set of tableaux from Finnish history and was called Finland Awakes. Within the Russian empire it was sometimes performed under other names, including "Impromptu." The censors didn't notice much.

We bought this for our daughters birthday and she could not wait to put it on. She wears it at least once a week. It very quickly has become her favorite shirt.
I ordered several items and liked all of them. I'm a woman and typically wear a size medium — the fit was just right for me. However, the shirts might run a bit small for a men's medium, especially after being put through the dryer.
These were a gift for my husband and he loves them. Great design and a quality Tee. Great company, they were real gems with helping return part of the order. We will surely be back!
