RCA Victor launched the 7-inch 45 in March 1949 with a hole an inch and a half wide, sized to drop neatly onto jukebox and record-changer spindles. The side effect was that anyone with an ordinary turntable soon owned one small plastic adapter and immediately lost it. This shirt is for people with a drawer full of them.
