Akira Kurosawa1910 – 1998

A village can only pay in rice, so the elders go looking for hungry samurai. Kurosawa's 1954 film runs 207 minutes, and he takes his time assembling the team. That slow build is the point. This is the crewneck for anyone who has ever held out for the right people before starting the job.

Printed on a midweight fleece crewneck, soft on the inside.

Chest: lay the shirt flat and measure straight across, 1" below the armholes.
Length: from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
Sleeve: from center back, including cuff rib.

how to measure

first things first: grab a shirt you already love the fit of, a measuring tape, and a flat surface. lay the shirt flat, smooth it out, and compare its measurements to the chart.

length: from the highest point of the shoulder, where it meets the collar, straight down to the hem.
chest: straight across the shirt, 1" below the armholes, from side seam to side seam. it's measured flat, so double it to compare with your own chest.
sleeve: from the center back of the neck, over the shoulder point, to the end of the sleeve (to the end of the cuff on sweatshirts).

All measurements are of the garment laid flat, from our spec sheet. Allow a little tolerance either way.
