Satie finished the three Gymnopédies in 1888 and named them after an ancient Spartan festival of dancing. The music is slow, spare and exactly as calm as it sounds. Debussy liked it enough to orchestrate two of them in 1896. The music is calm. The backstory, with the naked Spartan youths, is less so.

Wore this to a disco club in st Petersburg florida and the baddest women I have Yet seen eyed me well into the four o'clock hour. Splendid textile
I've gotten two archive Shirts & am wearing them constantly. At first, I thought they were too torso long(xs). But after a wash & a wear-I changed up. I like the length. The fabric doesn't have that new feeling or look I hate.
We bought this for our daughters birthday and she could not wait to put it on. She wears it at least once a week. It very quickly has become her favorite shirt.
I bought this shirt and gifted it to my boyfriend. He absolutely loves it! This purchase was a good decision, and I will be buying from this company again.
I love everything about this shirt! The design is spectacular and the quality of the shirt and the printing are both really terrific. Trying to decide which one to get next!
Got this Beethoven shirt for my dad for Father’s Day! He’s a conductor and we’re singing several pieces with Beethoven’s music woven in (like his letter to his brother’s about going deaf in “A Silence Haunts Me” by Jake Runestad). He loves it!! So happy to have found a site with t shirts for classical music nerds lol!
Love these shirts! They are super soft, and breathable! Such nice quality!! True to size! The colors are so nice and soft too with just the right amount of contrast of the composers name and photos! Love them!!
