Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart1756 – 1791

Mozart finished his last symphony in August 1788. The "Jupiter" nickname wasn't his; it probably came from the impresario Johann Peter Salomon. The finale ends with five themes playing at once, which is either the most elegant thing in classical music or a dare. We lean dare.
